The Draa and Oued Draa is the longest river in Morocco (1100 km).
It arises from the confluence of the rivers Dades and Imini and flows from the High Atlas to the Atlantic Ocean.
Often, however, the Draa is completely dry and the water reaches the sea are not.
The water of the river is used for irrigating date palms.
The families living in the surrounding villages have their own piece of land, on which they can grow their vegetables and can provide the date palms.
