Augrabies Falls (South Africa)


On the few places you'll be so overwhelmed as the Augrabies Falls National Park.
Here is the Orange River as a spectacular waterfall of sixty meters down.
The name of the park comes from the Khoi tribe: they call it 'Aukoerebis "that" Place of Great Noise' means.
Especially at the end of summer does the waterfall its name when the river water carries with it a lot and the noise is deafening.
